Fall Decor with Scrapbook paper in 2 minutes

So I realized this fall that i have NO fall decor. So what's a girl to do? Use what she has! I put autumn-ish scrapbook paper in all the frames in our home! Above is example A. So feeling un-festive? just find some scrapbook paper!

Stamp Camp Ornament

So I decided that rather than coming up with new ideas for stamp camp, that i would just use my ideas for cards and gifts for this Christmas! This was my ornament idea--I was going to use some blues and silvers but i really like how this one turned out! I just curled the 1/6" strips around a pencil, slipped 6 of them in the glass ornament, and added fun ribbon and a tag! The ornaments were about $3 at my local craft store for 5 of them. I'm definitely going back for more!! A very frugal gift idea:) Happy stamping!!

Year @ a Glance Scrapbook

These are the pages I created for my upcoming "Year @ a Glance" scrapbook class. They are 6x6 and are two-page spreads (but aren't side by side in the picture because I put them in the page protectors by month, not by how you'd arrange them in a scrapbook!) They are also in reverse order because I am a genius at uploading photos to my blog:)

If you are interested in hosting your own class with your friends, I'll come to you with all the supplies! Cost is $40.

Praying for you...

We made this card at a workshop a few weeks ago. I don't have the big shot, but she did and wanted to use it... so we did! She also wanted to use this set, and I didn't have it--which gave me an excuse to get it! Other than using the Top Notz die, the other fancy work on the card was coloring the tree, which I did on the back of the stamp with markers. It kind of gets me in the mood for fall! Anyway, I'm rambling! Hope you enjoy!

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, More Mustard, Whisper White
Accessories: Top Notz die, Earth Elements brads, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker, Close to Cocoa Stampin' Write Marker

Lots of baby girls!

I love the Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin' Kits! This was the baby girl kit from the last catalog... very cute:) I made a bunch of cards when the kit retired since ALL of my friends are having/have had girls this year! So lots of pink:) All I added was the Kiwi Kiss ribbon!

Enjoy your summer!!

Accessories: Rock-a-Bye Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit, Kiwi Kiss Striped Grosgrain Ribbon

Congrats Grads!

This was a quick card made from a Simply Card kit. It was easy to make a bunch for the kids graduating this year. The only things I needed extra were the ribbon, square punches, and the Congrats stamp from Say it with Scallops set.

Happy Anniversary!

I found the idea for these cards on the Stampin' Up! demonstrator website. They were pretty easy to do--the only stamping was Baroque Motifs and the "Happy Anniversary"! The rest was the pretties kit: flowers and the hat pin.

Jamie's Wedding Shower

Here are some of the things I made in May for my good friend Jamie's wedding shower. The theme was a Penn State Football Tailgate. Soo... the invitation (or first draft of it) is above, the card for her gift, and the album we made with advice for Jamie and Chris during the shower. I hope to post a few more projects from the last month or two in the next few days!

my first paid job!!

so at the church where i work, i gave a gentleman a card who was in the hospital.  it was one of those times when you have a card sitting around for months and then you finally have the PERFECT person to give it to!  he really liked it and asked if i could make 20 for him!  of course i never make 2 cards the same... and the original was made with retired colors/accessories... so here is what i ended up with!  the picture is a little fuzzy, but you get the idea.  happy easter!

stamps: the free and the brave
ink: blue bayou (R), real red, river rock (R)
paper:  real red, whisper white, river rock (R), blue bayou (R)
etc: blue bayou double stitched ribbon (R), dimensionals

birthday chic

i loved this set... which is now retired, sad.  everything else is current though!  it is so fun and girly, which i usually am not, which kind of surprised me that i would purchase this set, but it is really quite versatile!  anyway, i needed to stock back up on birthday cards this weekend, so i did just that--i made this one and then another with another retired set, which i didn't like as much.

paper--bella rose dsp, whisper white, chocolate chip, kiwi kiss
